We are unable to go to her house and pack up her personal belongings as my worthless cousins and their extremely aggressive dog live there. We plan to get her a nice warm blanket, some warm nightgowns, a robe, and some slipper socks. What are some other things she will need? Also, what are some things that are not necessities but she might enjoy? I have very little experience with nursing homes but I want her to be comfortable.
Call the nursing home to check on what she will need and what is not allowed. But most of all she will need you, visit as much as possible and a picture of her family or you in a nice frame would be nice too.
