When I went on the hospital tour, she told us and I have forgotten. She said to have 2 bags though, one for labor and delivery and one for things to go home in/with.
I already know a: robe, nursing nightgown, slippers, the pacifiers (so he gets used to the one I want to use)................
What else needs to be in the bag?
For yourself, I would recommend a few pairs of socks. My feet were cold in the hospital. I also had a pair of flip-flops that aren't flip flops - like nike sports sandals, where you can just put you feet through with socks on. Very nice for when you have to get up for the bathroom, etc, after the baby is born. Mine were kind of stretchy, too, which was nice because my feet never swelled during pregnancy, but after the baby was born, my feet swelled like crazy for a few days.
I also brought my own pillow for labor, since I already bring my own pillow every where I go overnight anyway. I wish I'd brought along extra pillow cases, though, since I ended up vomiting all over my pillow during labor (but the pillow itself was fine since my pillow was encased in and allergy cover). So bring extra pillow cases if you bring your own pillow.
Panties and socks. Some snacks so that your coach doesn't have to leave you all the time to get food. Chap stick. A brush, A hair tie if your hair is long enough for one. Shampoo and soap. Anything you need to make you feel human. And don't forget the camera and extra batteries!

Following is a list of items you may want to pack:

Good luck!
When my mom had my little sister she also packed her favorite blanket and pillow from home so that she would feel a little more comfortable in the hospital.
Congrats!!! Good Luck!!!
(Hope this helped)
